At Scheuerman Law Firm, I strive to build a strong relationship with my clients right from the start. I am attorney Tyler Scheuerman, and my firm represents individuals in medical malpractice claims, personal injury and wrongful death claims, and business litigation matters throughout South Texas.
For almost 20 years, I have dedicated my professional life to helping those in need of legal assistance. Much of my
practice is dedicated to medical malpractice and personal injury matters, but I also serve the needs of local professionals and business owners in business law matters. I personally handle all matters involving my clients. From the initial phone consultation, to email correspondences and courtroom proceedings – my clients deal directly with me.
AN EXPERIENCED PATIENT SAFETY ADVOCATE
Patients in a hospital or medical setting are in a vulnerable position. They expect the highest level of professionalism and competency from their caretakers. For those whose rights are not protected – I am their advocate. Much of my practice is dedicated to helping those who have been injured or suffered illness due to violations of patient safety rules. I have practiced my entire career in the South Texas area, serving clients along the Texas and Mexico border. My familiarity and roots in the community help me better understand my clients’ needs and the challenges they are facing.
RECOGNITION THROUGHOUT SOUTH TEXAS
I am Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. There are more than 70,000 attorneys licensed to practice in Texas. Only 7,000 are Board Certified. Within the Texas legal community, Board Certification means an attorney has substantial, relevant experience in personal injury as well as demonstrated, and tested, special competence in that area of law. I have been selected each year for inclusion in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 Texas Super Lawyers, which is limited to 5% of the lawyers in the entire State of Texas. I have consistently been named one of the best plaintiffs’ medical malpractice lawyers in San Antonio by S.A. Scene Magazine. I have tried cases to jury verdict in Bexar, Webb, Maverick, Zavala, Nueces, Hidalgo and Cameron Counties, as well as smaller venues in-between.
Few lawyers in my generation can say they have the same trial experience and recognition.
